What is F.I.G.H.T.

For years in Greene Co., the Greene County Jail/Detention Center has been without any type of rehabilitation or education as far as self help programs or other drug/alcohol rehabilitation programs. The need for such programs are essential in the jail to help responsible persons achieve a positive attitude and positive goals to become productively drug/alcohol free citizens. We are excited to say F.I.G.H.T has been authorized by jail administration!  Therefore a small group of individuals inside the detention center came together in agreement to take a positive action to begin a program called F.I.G.H.T which stands for Focused Individuals Getting Help Together. Our structure which is still improving consist of the twelve step drug/alcohol program, churches, organizations, ministers, licensed counselor and families have emerged to get this program moving forward. There is still a great need to get the word out about our program and ask for your talents and abilities to help achieve an interesting,  creative and confident giving program. Always achieving positive results and never boring is what we are striving for to separate us from other programs which become unsuccessful.
